– Clean the area to be tattooed or treated with soap and water
– Cover the area with a hot towel for 5 minutes and dry thoroughly
– Apply a generous amount of DR Secondary numbing cream to the area
– Rub in the cream thoroughly before applying a second heavy layer
– Cover the cream with plastic wrap to keep it warm and prevent it from drying out
– Leave the cream and wrap in place for 25-50 minutes before the procedure
– For larger areas or longer procedures, apply the cream to the entire area and remove in sections as needed
– The skin should remain numb for 3-5 hours after the cream is removed, depending on skin type and location.
